Twelve Reported Missing Last Saturday

Eight police stations had received complaints about 12 missing persons which includes six underaged children on Saturday alone. 

The 12 persons include seven females and five males. Among the six missing children five are females. Out of these, Madatugama Police Station alone has received complaints that three under aged girls have gone missing.

The police say that a 15-year-old student resident of Nochchiyagama, a 16-year-old student resident of Thalawa and a 17-year-old student resident of Polonnaruwa have gone missing.

Police said that these girls were staying in a certified school based on court orders. Apart from this, Kahatuduwa and Kegalle police stations have received two complaints each about missing persons.

Other complaints have been received at Koslanda, Wellawatta, Dompe, Ipalogama, and Kalawana police stations.
