TVS has revealed their new iQube ST 2025 concept at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo held in Delhi. The range and features of this scooter have been improved over the existing models in the market. Currently, the company's only electric scooter in India is the iQube, which is available for sale across the country. In terms of sales, it is the second best-selling EV two-wheeler in the country.
Design
The design of the iQube ST 2025 concept is similar to the current TVS iQube ST. However, the iQube ST Concept has a special blue paint, which is inspired by the “Northern Lights” and looks pretty cool too. This particular color scheme is surrounded by white graphics, which makes the overall look more appealing.
Battery and range
The iCube ST 2025 concept offers improved range compared to the current iCube ST model, the company said. A 5.1 kWh battery pack is available, capable of delivering a real-world range of 150 km per charge in Eco mode. Also, the TVS iCube ST 2025 concept features a customizable touchscreen instrument console, which can be connected to a smartphone.
Features
Also available are geofencing, navigation and other rider-aid features. On the other hand, the current iQube ST variant is available with a seven-inch TFT instrument console. Which includes smartphone connectivity features. And features like turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, geo-fencing and overspeeding alert are available.
Hopefully, the future iQube range of electric scooters will be based on this 2025 TVS iQube ST concept. However, the launch date and price of the scooter is yet to be decided.
