MTV has renewed Faking It for a second season, and Pretty Little Liars has been picked up by ABC family for a sixth AND seventh season.
Faking It has been a solid hit for MTV, and stars American Idol alumni Katie Stevens and Rita Volk (The Hungover Games).
Meanwhile, James Tupper has been made a series regular on Revenge for the upcoming fourth season, and Samira Wiley has been made a regular on Orange Is The New Black for the upcoming third season. Samira has played inmate Poussey since the first season on a recurring basis, and has had roles in Unforgettable and the movies The Sitter, Being Flynn, and Rob The Mob.
Tupper is best known outside of Revenge as a leading man in soapy TV dramas like Men In Trees, Mercy, and even a stint on Grey’s Anatomy. He also recently recurred on Resurrection, and was seen in the films Playing For Keeps and Mr. Poppers Penguins.
