The Hali-Ela Police said that a tution master has been taken into custody on Thursday for allegedly showing a video of a nude woman to his student during a tuition class conducted by him at Uduwara.
The tution master in question had asked the girl not to tell anybody about what had transpired when the latter refused to look at the video.Police said that the 53-year-old suspect, a father of two, has been conducting the tuition class at Uduwara.
Police said that this incident had taken place on April 8 during a 15 minute break that the master had given his students. He had asked the girl to remain in the class while others were allowed to go out of the classroom. During further investigations the suspect had said that he had taken photographs with the girl.
Accordingly, the Police had inspected the mobile phone belonging to the tution master and found more than 10,000 photographs of nude and semi-naked girls and women on it. Each photograph had been saved on the tution master phone using a secure method so that no one could access them.
