Turtles

i had a pet box turtle, cleo, when i lived in the north end in boston.  he had the run of the place. mostly he stayed in the kitchen but every morning i heard "bump bump, bump bump, bump bump..." on the hardwood floors. cleo would walk into my bedroom and stare up at me 'til i got out of bed.  then he'd make the trip back to the kitchen. every day. true.
