Turquoise to Cobalt Green in New Painting

By Abstractartbylt @artbylt

After painting the background on this canvas, I drew circles in cobalt green, beginning with smaller ones in the top center of the composition.  After the paint dried, I filled in the colors with a thin wash, beginning with cadmium yellow light, then emerald, working my way out to a pale permanent green.

After this step dried, I drew "leaves on a vine" shapes in cadmium yellow light in the center of the canvas, filling in the shapes with a wet brush as I went.  Next, I used emerald green, and then aqua, working my way outward from the center.

Tomorrow I'll finish the painting.
