Turning 35

By Blondie @heyblondieblog
As a child I thought that people in their 30s were so old! As I approached my mid 20s I started to see things differently.
Last week was my birthday and I turned the ripe old age of 35! I do not feel old and actually see myself and Dagwood as young. We have 2 youngsters who keep us on our toes and so far the age I dreaded as a child is treating me kindly!
Tuesday was a school night so we stayed home and did the typical routine. Friday night Dagwood got a babysitter and let me decide what to do. We ate at Zoe's and went to see The Bourne Legacy. Great movie but we both agreed it is not quite the same without Matt Damon. We have seen them all and they did leave it open for more...
Saturday we went to Ken and Brenda's and had lunch and cake to celebrate Ken's, Liz's and my birthday. I got some great gifts and cards. We had a good time and then Steven, Liz and Luke came back to stay with us for the night.
It was a wonderful birthday week and weekend! Hopefully 40 will be just as easy!
