Finally...here are my favorite picks from my Tumblr Reblogs this week. This post is meant to be every Tuesday but due to my work load I just don't seem to be sticking to it at the moment. Final year of university is proving to be crammed full of long assignments, and with a close family member being ill for the last half a year, and only just returning home, the last 8 months or so have been an absolute rollercoaster and I can't remember ever feeling so tired. Any how the point I'm trying to make is that more important things have been occupying my mind, but it won't be long before I can concentrate more on blogging. When I get some time I want to sit down properly and give my blog a new look, I have some great ideas for it, but I'm pretty pressed for time the next few weeks. I also want to get back to my outfit posting, and product reviewing.
It's nice to see this weeks reblogs have a little bit more of a summer theme running through them. I'm lusting over printed swimsuits such as the one featured in this post. A couple of my favourites are Lovely Sally's II Braco - Wolf Print Swimsuit here, Black Milk Clothing's Tiger Print here, and Wildfox's Skeletal one here. I feel like I need to invest in one of these high shine printed swimsuits for the summer. On the other hand you could always wear it like a leotard and wear it with denim hotpants, or dress it up for an evening look. Either or I'm tempted. I'm also still lusting over a pair of cut-out boots such as these here, and as a matter of fact probably the white ones too, but I have so many simple ankle boots I can't quite justify myself buying a pair, other than the fact that I could see myself getting the wear out of them.
Looking at the Denim & Sheer reblog, I hadn't actually considered these materials together until I saw this snap, and overall I think they compliment one another perfectly. There's something quite dramatic about this shirt, and I love the idea of it being see-through at the back. If anyone knows where this is from please comment - I'd be more than grateful or I suppose you could make one yourself. I had to include the White Dungarees reblog as they take me back to my childhood, but are also on my list of must have style pieces for this year. I've seen quite a few denim pini dresses, some of my favourites to name a few, such as this one here, here and this leather strap one here. The leather strap pini dress has been incredibly popular and I'm still waiting for my size to be available so I can order it. I'm yet to find the perfect pair of denim dungarees.
The Oversized Denim reblog is something else I want to get my hands on this week. This Levi Denim Jacket is perfect, and I'm not quite sure why I called it oversized, perhaps it genuinely is a large size, but I'm very much into the whole boyish, baggy, oversized denim jackets. Levi is by far the best denim make, and you could always guarantee your paying for the best. I'm sure there's bound to be a few Levi pieces knocking around at carboots and in charity shops. Keep your eyes peeled, and remember it doesn't matter if its mens, the more oversized the better.
The Pastel Cloud Tee has got a combination of some beautiful Spring/Summer pastel shades and would look great worked into a denim outfit. It's very simple but very effective. Last but not least White Frames. I looked at this photograph and pined for Summer even more. I have never thought to own a pair of white sunglasses. Perhaps it's just me but I've always seen them as cheap. I now think differently and definitely think they are dramatic and classy. Of course white is perfect for summer.
