Lykke Li was born in 1986 in Sweden. Her first album is called Youth Novels and was released in 2008. Her second, and latest, album is called Wounded Rhymes. It was released in March 2011.
I don´t know anything about her first album, but Wounded Rhymes just got to me. It´s raw, it´s honest and direct; it tells it exactly like it is. This is also why I think the entire album sounds incredibly sexy. Sometimes it also sounds a bit ‘trippy’, but that’s a good thing in this case.
My favourites on this album are: I Follow Rivers, Love out of Lust, and I Know Places.
