Which Super Bowl Party Snacks Will Light Up Your Party?

Enjoy these Super Bowl Party Snacks and save money when you shop electricity rates!
We’re taking a time out this Sunday to serve some tasty and easy to make Super Bowl party snacks! Since Houston’s not playing you don’t even have to watch the game to enjoy them!

Whether you want to see Joe Burrow or Matt Stafford win his first Super Bowl, many people at your party will care most about the snacks. Whether you’re hosting or bringing a dish to someone else’s house, consider making one of these Super Bowl Party snacks.

Guacamole

You can doctor up guacamole with all kinds of additions like cilantro, onions, lime juice, or even pumpkin seeds. But first, start with a base of avocados, Roma tomatoes, salt, and pepper. That’s your jumping off point. Conveniently, this dish requires no energy usage unless you count storing it in the refrigerator. If you make it ahead, make sure you cover it with plastic wrap touching the top to keep the guacamole from turning brown.

Queso

Queso is a classic Super Bowl party snack for Texans. If you want to see your party guest weave through your kitchen like Aaron Donald through an opposing offensive line, set out a giant bowl of queso. You don’t even have to make it yourself! Culinary Cowgirls has several excellent offerings. Keep it in a slow cooker set to “warm” so your queso will be as creamy and delicious in pregame as it is in the fourth quarter.

Zummo’s Party Time Smoked Sausage

People in East Texas know about Zummo’s Party Time Smoked Sausage, but the rest of the state might not be up to speed. These sausages are great on their own, in a hot dog bun, or slathered in barbecue sauce. For optimum enjoyment, baste them in barbecue sauce and throw them on a hot grill. Once the barbecue sauce caramelizes, take them off the grill. Place one on a hot dog bun with more barbecue sauce and your favorite mustard.

Super Bowl Chicken Wings

While some people consider chicken wings as nothing more than bones with sauce, other people can devour a barnyard full of these tasty treats. Whether you sauce them with traditional buffalo sauce, teriyaki, barbecue, or some other concoction, make sure you either deep fry or smoke them. You may swear by your air fryer, but don’t skimp on the wings on Super Bowl Sunday. You can put celery and carrots on the side, but you don’t really need to unless you’ll have vegans or small woodland creatures at your party.

A Super Bowl of Ice Cream Sundaes

After all the heavy and savory food, your fellow football watchers will want a sweet treat to round out the dining experience. Make it easy on yourself, and put out an ice cream sundae bar. Get a gallon or two of vanilla ice cream for people to top as they please. Chocolate syrup, caramel, sprinkles, and whipped cream are the basics. But you can do more as you see fit.
