The 2017 Trumpet Awards were held this past weekend at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. Some of our favorite gospel artists were on hand for the event. Shirley Caesar, David and Tamela Mann, Erica Campbell, LeAndria Johnson, JeKalyn Carr and more took to the stage as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration.

We’re loving this look on radio host, and First Lady of Cali Worship, Erica Campbell.
The Trumpet Awards, first presented in 1993, were created to herald the accomplishments of Black Americans who have succeeded against immense odds. Special recognition is given to the few, who symbolize the many, who have overcome the ills of racism and poverty and achieved special greatness.
2017 introduces a new chapter for The Trumpet Awards. Through a recent agreement with the Trumpet Awards Foundation, Bounce has acquired all assets for the venerable awards and is squarely poised to continue the ongoing legacy of this event. The event has been televised annually and distributed internationally to over 185 countries around the world.
Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, The Trumpet Awards will world premiere on Bounce TV on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 9:00 p.m. (ET).
