Donald Trump returned to Washington on Tuesday for the first time since leaving the White House 18 months ago, delivered a fiery speech sown with strong instructions he could run for president again in 2024.
76 -year -old Trump stopped declaring his nomination, but established what he believed to be a priority for the “next Republican President.”
“I always said I ran for the first time and I won, then I ran for the second time and I did it much better,” Trump said. “We might have to do it again. We must straighten our country.
“I hope to put more details in weeks and months.”
A few hours before Trump went on stage at the first American American Institute of Policy, his former vice president, Mike Pence, who also considered the White House in 2024, spoke to a different conservative hearing in Washington.
Speaking at the Young America’s Foundation conference, Pence said Americans had to look into the future instead of the past and reduce differences with Trump.
“Election is about the future,” Pence said. “I came today not to look back but to look forward.
“I don’t know that the president and I am different from the problem,” he said. “But we might be different in focus.”
Trump’s 90 -minute speech to the conservative American first policy institute echoed many campaign themes that won 2016, including illegal immigration and crime.
Trump repeated fake claims that he won the 2020 election and condemned the investigation of the DPR Committee on the January 6 attack on the US Capitol by his supporters as the work of “political hacking and criminals.”
“If I leave my belief, if I agree to stay still, if I live at home and just relax, the persecution of Donald Trump will stop soon,” he said. “But that’s not what I will do. I can’t do that.
“They really want to damage me so that I can no longer return to work for you,” he said.
“And I don’t think it will happen,” he added, pushed the singing from the crowd “Four more than four years!”

Trump repeated repeatedly at the Democratic President Joe Biden, blaming him for the country’s illness.
“We are a declining country,” he said. “We are a failed country.”
“Inflation is the highest in 49 years,” Trump said, “gas price has reached the highest in the history of our country.”
He accused Biden allowed “invasion” by millions of migrants crossing the southern border.
“Other countries are very happy to send all their criminals now through our open borders to the United States,” he said.
“The next Republican President must immediately apply every aspect of Trump’s agenda which reaches the safest border in history,” he said.
Trump said the United States “is now a crime bed.”
“We have blood, death and suffering on a scale that has never been thought of,” he said. “The cities managed by Democrats are recording records of all time murder.”
He accused Biden “surrending in Afghanistan,” and allowed Russia to attack Ukraine.
“It will never happen if I am your supreme commander,” he said.
Since taking his last Air Force One flight from Washington to Florida on January 20 last year, Trump remains the most polarized figure in the country, continuing his unprecedented campaign to sow doubts about the loss of the 2020 election to Biden.
For weeks, Washington had been fixed by an audience at the Congress about January 6 which invaded the Capitol by Trump’s mob and his efforts to cancel the election.
With the current ranking of Biden approval below 40 percent and Democrats are expected to lose control over the Congress in the mid -November semester election, Trump seems to be bullish that he can ride the Republican wave to the White House in 2024.
On the Democratic side, Fury at Trump also provides energy before the midterm exam.
The DPR Committee’s hearing has established evidence that Trump oversees no less than efforts to destroy US democracy, first through trying to rig the election procedure behind the scenes and eventually encourage the masses to attack legislators who certify their losses.
Facing the chat that at the age of 79 he was too old to think of finding a second term in 2024, Biden said the scourge of another Trump nomination was one of his main motivations to run again.
The President targeted his predecessor after Trump’s speech, Tweeting: “I called an old -fashioned, but I did not think of inciting hordes who attacked a police officer was ‘respecting the law.'”
“You cannot pro-asurrection and pro-Cop-or pro-democracy, or pro-American,” Biden added.
