True Blood Speculation: Which Female Chancellor Dug up Russell?

Posted on the 11 July 2012 by Thevault @The_Vault

When Sookie “unglamoured” Doug we learned that the person who dug out Russell is a woman wearing an Authority necklace. Which of these ladies was it? Post your ideas in the comments!

Nora

Nora is the most obvious choice. She confessed to be a Sanguinista and Russell could make a powerful ally in the Sanguinista fight against mainstreaming and the Authority itself. Eric says he didn’t tell his sister about Russell, but she could have been spying on him. Nora did try to help Eric and Bill escape, or so it seems, or would be sell out her own brother for her believes?

Salome

Salome is close to Roman, if she turns out to be a traitor that would hit Roman and the Authority like a stake through the heart. She is trying to influence Roman to change his harsh policy and try to find some kind of compromise with the Sanguinistas. But at the same time it was because of her doing that Bill and Eric were allowed to hunt Russell down, how does she benefit from that? And how did she know where Russell was? Could Russell be her maker and he summoned her?

Rosalyn

Rosalyn is the least obvious candidate to be a secret Sanguinista. Her maker was a dedicated mainstreamer and she seems to be willing to do anything for the cause. But she did look a little nervous when Roman announced there was a second traitor in their midst. The perpetrator is often the one we expect the least. Could Rosaly be the one who released Russell?

Lilith

Since in True Blood anything is possible, why limit ourselves to suspects that are still alive?
Maybe Lilith herself rose from the (un)dead and broke our Russell from his concrete prison. Or maybe her spirit took possession of one of the above mentioned female chancellors to do the job for her?
