It seems that Arlene’s (Carrie Preston) new love interest has been cast! Riley Smith will be joining the HBO series as Keith according to a report from Deadline. Michael Ausiello revealed in his Ask Ausiello column last Tuesday that Arlene would find a new love interest in Keith, the bandmate of James (Nathan Parsons). Keith is a vampire with a romantic side apparently:
“Keith [is] a sexy, rock ‘n’ roll vampire with a romantic side. A drummer in James’ (Nathan Parson) band, he becomes smitten with Arlene (Carrie Preston) on first sight.”
Smith will appear on True Blood in a reoccurring capacity. He is currently a regular in the backdoor pilot, Deliverance Creek from Nicholas Sparks productions which is thought to air later this year with the possibility that it may develop into a series.
His previous credits include 90210.
