Actor Will Yun Lee has been cast to play Mr. Gus for True Blood season 7 according to report from Deadline. We first heard about Mr. Gus in two separate reports last month. The character is described as:
A Japanese businessman living in Texas, whose bigger-than-life, urban cowboy demeanor nearly rivals the size of his large Stetsons, Gus is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to get it.
Intially described as one of the big bads for the season, Mr. Gus is thought to be a vampire. What he is seeking vengence for remains anyone’s guess. Yun Lee’s credits include Wolverine and the new Paul Feig comedy Spy among others. The news of his casting comes on the same day as the release of the first True Blood season 7 photos by HBO.
True Blood will premiere for its final season June 22nd 2014 at 9PM on HBO.
