With only 18 sleeps to go until the Season 6 premiere of HBO‘s True Blood more and more news about what we can expect is trickling out. Today’s information comes courtesy of Ask Ausiello and TV Guide and the prevalent theme seems to be death. With all the rumors about a major character dying fans are all wondering if it will be Eric, Bill or someone else. It seems like it doesn’t take long to get right into the action. According to Ausiello, who has watched the first two episodes (lucky guy!), these are the highlights:
There’s a pivotal death, a threesome, a Hoyt shout-out, all kinds of fancy new anti-vampire weaponry and a horrifying glimpse into the future that may or may not foreshadow this.
The “this” he’s referring to is the rumor the Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) meets the true death this season. Tell us it isn’t so! Unfortunately no one seems to be able to assure us that the viking vampire will be around at the end of the Season so fans could wind up being disappointed. Ausiello also revealed information on new character Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) who is an activist with the Vampire Unity Society. Nicole will be setting her sights on someone but Ausiello does not reveal who.
TV Guide had much the same things to say about the first two episodes saying we can expect plenty of blood and death. According to them finding and destroying the mysterious Warlow (who killed Sookie and Jason‘s parents and seems determined to get Sookie), will be at the forefront this season. They also had this to say about that storyline:
What will surprise you, though, is Warlow’s connection to Bill’s occupation of/transformation into/death by Lillith. Nora is going to have to brush up on her vampire Bible, tout suite.
Hmmm sounds ominous. So Truebies what do you think of these revelations? Any thoughts as to who the “pivotal death” will be? Let us know in the comment section below.
