This just in Trubies! I have some True Blood season 5 casting news for you this afternoon. Deadline.com is reporting that True Blood has cast yet another authority member that was mentioned in a casting call for episode 5.02 “Authority Always Wins.”
Actor Peter Mensah has been cast in the role Kibwe. Deadline is saying that the character is actually a Chancellor for the Authority, something left out of the original description:
[KIBWE] Early 40s to early 60s. A slender African gentleman vampire, he’s an Authority council member who believes rehabilitation for prisoners over stricter punishment…STRONG RECURRING
Mensah’s TV credits include The Sarah Connor Chronicles, the Pretender, Witchblade, and Star Trek: Enterprise. He has also been in films such as Tears of the Sun, Hildalgo, and Avatar.
