In last week’s episode, If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’ we saw many of our characters struggle with the situations they found themselves in, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) dealing with Eric’s amnesia, Bill (Stephen Moyer) having to make hard choices as king, and of course Marnie (Fiona Shaw) dealing with the reality of her powers. So what can we expect for this week’s episode I’m Alive and on Fire? I’ve got some juicy True Blood Season 4 spoilers for tonight’s installment involving Sookie, Eric, Marnie, Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), and Tommy (Marshall Allman).
According to the Boston Herald Blog Love that TV, after Eric kills Claudine (Lara Pulver) he’s drunk on fairy blood and Sookie loses him in the woods:
“With Alcide (Joe Manganiello) in wolf form, she finds him, hours later, in the sunlight, enjoying a naked dip in gator-filled waters.”
It goes on to say that Sookie must be affected by Eric in some way because she later lies to Bill in order to protect him. Meanwhile Marnie is trying to find a way to reverse her spell and she dreams about a witch burning. But she doesn’t find a solution to the Eric problem’ which makes Pam very unhappy:
“Marnie who gets better with every episode) has a dream-induced flashback to a witch’s burning and frantically searches for a spell to reverse Eric’s amnesia. When Pam is ready to rip her throat out, a possessed Marnie unleashes another spell that reveal’s Pam’s true nature – and provides the night’s grossest moment.”
Jason and Tommy are also experiencing some difficult times as well, with Tommy making a family visit he regrets and Jason escapes from Hotshot with werepanthers on his tail.
