True Blood’s Nelsan Ellis: Season 4 Does Not End Well

Posted on the 10 September 2011 by Tbfansource @tbfansource

True Blood's Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds)True Blood’s Nelsan Ellis has had a busy season this season as Lafayette Reynolds. He got a new haircut, found love, and found out he has some mad medium powers. Thanks to Jesus (Kevin Alejandro), Lafayette participated in a little witchery, and his spiritual powers were unveiled. And after how last Sunday’s episode ended, someone who is very thankful for Lafayette’s gift is Marnie (Fiona Shaw). Ellis sat down with the LA Times on Friday and dished a bit on what fans can expect from the season 4 finale.

Ellis divulged that when the screen fades to black at the end of And When I Die, there’s a distinct possibility that fans might scream in frustration:

“The finale turns Bon Temps upside down. Lafayette and Jesus are directly in the middle of it, and it doesn’t end well. No finale in the history of ‘True Blood‘ has been worse than this one in terms of the cliffhangers. People are going to be [upset] because they’re going to have to wait like seven months before they figure out what materializes after this finale.”

Well, considering this is how we feel after every season finale, we hopefully won’t be too traumatized. But, it’s still hard to say what creator Alan Ball has up his sleeve for us tomorrow. Read Ellis’ interview in its entirety here. And tune in for the season finale of True Blood tomorrow night on HBO!
