True Blood and Rutina Wesley Nominated for NAACP Image Awards

True Blood and Rutina Wesley Nominated for NAACP Image AwardsToday, the nominees for the 44th annual NAACP Image awards were announced in Hollywood, CA and True Blood along with one of it’s stars, Rutina Wesley have made the nominations.

Congratulations to Rutina for the nomination and to the whole cast and crew for the show’s nomination. The 2013 NAACP Image Awards will be presented live on NBC, Friday, February 1 at 8pm.

True Blood is nominated for best drama series. Here’s the list of nominations in this category:

  • “Boardwalk Empire” (HBO)
  • “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC)
  • “Scandal” (ABC)
  • “Treme” (HBO)
  • “True Blood” (HBO)

Rutina Wesley is nominated for best supporting actress in a drama series. Here’s the list of nominations:

  • Archie Panjabi – “The Good Wife” (CBS)
  • Joy Bryant – “Parenthood” (NBC)
  • Loretta Devine – “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC)
  • Lucy Lui – “SouthLAnd” (TNT)
