Verdict on Triptych
Triptych follows a high-end art dealer preparing to destroy their biggest work. It has become a major event with eyes drawn to her decision. However, something more mysterious is controlling her decision-making process.
This short horror takes us into the high-end art world. It uses the idea that people can become caught up more in the idea of art, than what is happening with the art. This has a creepy idea and takes down a nightmarish journey, but it struggles to have the impact it desires. It feels like it could become something far more intense with a longer format and it would let the twisted concept take over more.
Final Thoughts –Triptych has a twisted idea but not quite enough bite.
