Tried & Tested: Garnier Black Serum Mask – Pure Charcoal

I mentioned before that I have naturally oily skin and large pores which led me to focus on skincare. I am currently using an exfoliating facial cleanser and scrub as well as a moisturiser with the addition of pore strip or peel off facial mask usage once a week.

Then I received an email from Try & Review Philippines about a Black Serum Mask that purifies, detoxifies, and minimizes pores. It suddenly dawned on me that I haven't used that soft tissue mask for quite some time. How did I miss that? Good thing, I was selected to receive a free sample of the new Garnier Skin Naturals Black Serum Mask.

The Garnier Skin Naturals Black Serum Mask is infused with charcoal which known for its excellent absorbing properties and ability to remove impurities. It is also enriched with pre-tightening Black Algae Extract, LHA & Hyaluronic Acid. Clearly, the mask is suitable for clogged and enlarged pores. But that's not all!

With the help of the breakthrough black tissue mask technology, Garnier's new generation black serum tissue mask is able to infuse the skin with 1 week's worth of serum. And since the mask also offers a double purifying and hydrating efficacy, it will clear your skin without drying it out.

But in order for it to work, you have to:

1. Place it perfectly on a clean face. Carefully adjust the mask to the contours of your face.
2. Leave it for 15 minutes.*Take this time to relax.
3. Remove mask and gently massage any excess serum. To remove, use a cotton pad.

You can use this mask 3 times a week.

The question now is, does it work for me?

Absolutely! Based on my skincare routine, I would rather replace the peel off facial mask with Garnier's Black Serum Mask. I actually used this after cleansing and using pore strips. And while the serum mask was on my face, I could feel it was doing something. Also, it was not itchy nor painful at all. When I removed it and massaged the serum on my face, my skin felt cleaner and smoother.

So will I purchase Garnier Black Serum Mask?

Definitely! It was perfectly gentle on my skin. You see, when I use new products on my face it usually leaves itchy red patches on my skin and my eye hurt. But not with this one. In fact, I actually felt refreshed and I will definitely use this 2-3 times a week for best results.
