Tree Following - Shoots and Leaves

Ok, I admit I am borderline cross with a dash of sulking with my quince tree. I now know it's months before I can start to hope about quincelets again.  I nearly took a picture of a totally different tree as a form of punishment, but I backed down from this.
I decided the quince tree needs love. 
I decided the quince tree needs feeding too, so liquid seaweed is being provided. 
I decided the tree would be cosseted and encouraged to fruit..... .....and to reward me the tree has sent up a new, long shoot. 
I live in hope.
