Plot: Traveling Light tells the story of Caddy over a twenty-four-hour period on May 30th, 2020, as he searches for his missing son. Who has been living on the streets while working as an Uber/Delivery driver during the early days of the Pandemic in Los Angeles.

Story: Traveling Light starts in the early days of the Covid Pandemic. Caddy (Todd) has been searching for his son who has been living on the streets for years. He uses this opportunity to become a driver around LA.

On his journey, he gets to meet clients including Harry (Huston), and Todd (Dorff) who has their own way of dealing with the pandemic. We end up following a day in the life of these individuals as they question everyone else’s actions.

Verdict on Traveling Light

Traveling Light is a drama exploring the lives of a group of different people in LA. Some are trying to find missing relatives, while others are trying to make a stand. It gets to show how so many people reacted differently during the pandemic.

However, this just gets to highlight certain selfish actions during the time. It doesn’t seem to put anything forward to what could have been done or the cause or effect created by the actions. Most of the characters feel selfish and we end up just getting frustrated by their actions. With the exception of Caddy whose journey would have been far more fascinating to follow alone.

Final Thoughts – Traveling Light is a frustrating journey through the covid pandemic.
