A sky high view of Berlin
Opened in 1969 within the German Democratic Republic (DDR), the TV tower is a poignant symbol of Berlin.
Looking from Frankfurter Allee towards TV Tower.
Located in Alexanderplatz, the tower can be seen from everywhere in Berlin. It’s 368 metres tall and is the tallest structure in Germany. When you walk up to the tower you will pass some of the older parts of Berlin which were demolished to make way for its construction.
Tickets can be purchased online, with various deals for early day tickets and tickets with dinner.
Thankfully you don’t need to climb stairs so take the lift up and enjoy the view.
