"Travel Can Be One of the Most Rewarding Forms of Introspection" Lawrence Durrell

Long time and no post from me. Apologies, but it turns out preparing to travel 5,000 miles for 10 weeks is a lot of effort! I've nearly raised all my fundraising target for @progressio while attempting to learn Latin American Spanish, get 8 vaccinations (3x Rabies, 3x Hep B, MMR and Hep A), buy everything a girl needs for traveling and continue my normal life! I now have the details of my flights, including an overnight stop in Miami, which has made the whole situation so much more real. Honduras is known as the murder capital of the world, with the highest homicide rate of any country including gang violence, drug wars and violence against women, but this doesn't scare me, leaving those I love behind worries me most. For me, this adventure is the beginning of the rest of my life and, to be honest, I cannot wait!
