Looking for a tab that also becomes a laptop and yet costs less than Rs. 25,000? Then this news might interest you.

ASUS recently launched the Windows 10 based tab cum laptop device called Transformer Book T100HA. The price of this range of devices start from Rs. 23,990. That definitely is a very competitive price for a 2-in-1 computing device. This new range of Transformer Book follows the Transformer Book T100TA and claims to possess thinner and lighter chassis and better hardware and battery performance.

Being a Windows 10 device, it comes equipped with Cortana Digital Assistant which can perform various tasks on the device following user's voice commands. The all new Transformer Book also has the Continuum Mode and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Mobile.

Transformer Book T100HA weighs 1.03 Kg with its full-size keyboard. The tablet weighs 0.58Kg and has a 10.1 inch display. It is equipped with 2GB RAM, Intel® Quad-Core Atom™ x5-Z8500 Processer (up to 2.24 GHz). The device claims to provide up to 12 hours of operation on a single charge.

The tablet is held on to the keyboard with the self-aligning magnetic hinge that has four neodymium mangnets. The ports include USB 3.1 Type C port.

The T100HA has the Fast Charge capability which can charge the device from 0 to 80% in 2 hours.

The Transformer Book T100HA is available with aluminium finish in Tin Grey and Aqua Blue colours.

The all new Tranformer Book T100HA does sound like an interesting option for those looking for a tablet cum laptop device. I don't think it has the hardware specifications to support very heavy multi-tasking and resource hungry games and software. But for a general user with basic computing needs, it sure looks like an option worth considering.
