Trailer: Eminem and Spike Lee Present “Headlights”

As you know Spike Lee and Eminem were spotted together, and it was later confirmed thats they were preparing for the video release of Em’s next single “Headlights.” You can now expect the visual to drop on Mother’s Day (May 11). The duo dished on Em’s hometown of Detroit where the visual was shot and the meaning behind this forthcoming visual. Check out the 50-second clip from the project below.

It is no coincidence that this video will be released on Mother’s Day. This will be an ode to his mother Debbie Mathers who he has fought with in the public eye for the most of his career. You can read some of the lyrics below as well.

“But as stubborn as we are, did I take it too far, ‘Cleaning Out My Closet’/ And all them other songs, but regardless I don’t hate you/ ‘Cause ma, you’re still beautiful to me, ’cause you’re my mom,” he raps at one point. The theme goes on throughout the song.
