Since first reading about a film about Winston Churchill I have been very interested in it. Today the first trailer from Lionsgate has been released and it certainly helps to grow the anticipation for the film. I love films on British History in all honesty and looking forward to learning more about Churchill thanks to the film.
It has a fantastic cast lead by Brian Cox in the title role. The focus of the film is following the Prime Minister in the days leading up to the D-Day landings in June 1944.
The film will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 16th June 2017.
