As we discussed in our last post "2013 PGA Tour Season" the Hyundai Tournament of Champions is only a few days away and marks the debut of the much anticipated 2013 PGA Tour Season. Kicking off from the Hawaiian Islands, this unique tournament is definitely one you'll want to watch. With entrance into the tournament limited to players who won a tournament during 2012, I don't need to explain the amount of talent that can be found in this years field.
Something I got hooked on last year, Yahoo Fantasy Golf, I'll be once again indulging in, and putting my knowledge to the test by trying to predict tournament victors. I've done my due diligence for the upcoming Tournament of Champions, and here are some of my top picks:
Bubba Watson: Bubba had an awesome year in 2012, and I am fully expecting him to continue that trend into the 2013 season. As the longest hitter on the tour, I'll be watching for Bubba to crush some tee shots in this event.
Steve Stricker: As last years returning champion, I think Sticker will be fighting hard for a repeat win. He has 12 victories on the PGA Tour, and this could very well make lucky number 13.
Rickie Fowler: At only 24 years old, Rickie has already proven that he has what it takes to compete on the PGA Tour. He's entertaining both on and off the course and I'm expecting him to be all business this year.
