Grammy nominated artist, Tori Kelly teamed up with Franklin for her latest single ‘Help Us To Love’ featuring The Hamiltones.
The single, which Tori performed on the Stellar Awards, was produced and written by Franklin.
Kelly said, “I grew up on gospel music, so the fact that a legend like Kirk Franklin would take me under his wing was just a dream come true.”
The Hallelujah singer also took to her Instagram account to share a photo of the two in the studio along with a caption honoring Franklin.
“Working with this legend right here was such an honor… He represents a huge part of my childhood! Thank you for taking me under your wing & letting me learn from you. All talent aside, your heart for Jesus & your genuine love for people is what stood out the most. i look up to you very much Kirk Franklin.”
