Maryland’s unemployment rate fell from 7.2 to 6.9% from October to November.
Jack Johnson is still entitled to his pension, $49, 552 per year, because he was convicted after leaving office.

Tiffany Alston (D-Dist. 24) indicted by a grand jury on charges of theft and misconduct in office. Alston stands accused of adding a $100-a-day clerk position to her state office payroll for an employee that never worked in Annapolis and instead was assigned to her law firm, authorities said. The prosecutors say $800 was stolen.
Amrik Singh Mehli conspired with former County Executive Jack Johnson, police officer Richard Delabrer, and Amir Milijkovic to obstruct commerce by extortion, according to a plea agreement signed by Mehli. In addition, Mehli has to forfeit $1 million; should have to hand over more than that. All these dummies were paying Jack Johnson for licenses and permits to do business in the county and for protections that allowed them to transport and sell untaxed alcohol.

Crime rates in the county are at a 35 year low, violent crime has dropped by 13% since last year, and property crime has decreased by 10%. Perceptions of the county are that crime is rampant due to the media’s biased and slanted reporting on all things Prince George’s. It’s up to the residents of this county to rebrand itself.
