Top Ten Books on My Winter TBR List

These books have been on my TBR list for a while:

1. Gilead by Marilynne Robinson
2. The Idiot by Elif Batuman
3. We Were the Lucky Ones by Georgia Hunter

New and fun:

4. Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik
5. The Greatest Love Story Ever Told by Megan Mullaly and Nick Offerman

Showing up on a lot of 2018 best-of lists:

6. Red Clocks by Leni Zumas
7. Warlight by Michael Ondaatje
8. A Place for Us by Fatima Farheen Mirza

And an older book by an author I’ve been wanting to read (she has a new one out but I’ll start from the beginning):

9. In the Woods by Tana French, a mystery writer I’m always hearing great things about.

And I’ve committed to one more ARC this winter:

10. The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker, a book about a mysterious illness that puts people into perpetual sleep. It was endorsed by the author of Station Eleven, so I thought it might be worth a try.
