It's a standing joke that I personally am a bit of a bag lady, I honestly am just like Mary Poppins and carry the world in my bag, often enough I'll take items with me for 'just in case' situations. As you can imagine this leaves me in a slightly pickle for any evening events where I require only a small bag....
I do love my various bags, but what to use for the festive season?

To get the party started I've chosen a simple yet chic bag, it's quite spacious and looks beautiful! This clutch called Amelia is from Modalu, a brand which Pippa Middleton was spotted using after the Royal Wedding. In case you're wondering her bag was called the shark gray grab and it's now in the Modalu sale for £136.50 instead of £195.00. If you do order in their shop I did notice it's free delivery and all purses come with a free gift box.
AllSaints Bolshevik Folio Clutch - £87.50 SALE
If you've ever read my blog you'll be fully aware I'm huge AllSaints lover. The effortless cuts and fabrics always make me gush with joy over how much I need them in my life! This gorgeous clutch has an antique eefect with the leather and embellished front. This is the AllSaints Bolshevik Folio Clutch - £125.00 but in the sale now for only £87.50.
Vivienne Westwood Chancery Bag Black - £190.00
You'll notice I am selecting black ones so far, but for Christmas you can never go wrong with black clutches that are delicately embracing the glamourous festive season! I adore Vivienne Westwood bags because they will always be vibrant in someway regardless of their color or fabric.
French Connection Sizzle Sequins Clutch - £40.00 SALE
It would of been wrong if I'd not picked anything without sequins! This is quite a fence sitter in my eyes, because I feel like it could be used during any season. It's very light in colours so perfect for spring/summer but then teaming it with a fitted black dress and sparkly jewelry = a stunning Christmas outfit! This was £80.00 and is now £40.00 in the sale from French Connection.
Topshop Stud & Gem Box Bag - £45.00
I do love studs on a bag and I know this is slightly more edgy than glam, but for a drink with your friends in jeans and a top this is perfect. One of Topshop's finest of course!
Forever Unique - Aztec Bronze £17.50
I know most of the selection has been blacks and sparkles but sometimes you want something metallic looking for the festive evenings. You can't really ever go wrong with metallic and this bronze Forever Unique clutch is great in size and in tones....not to mention the price!
Coast Grey Premila Beaded Clutch - £60.00
I saw this and fell in love! I was browsing the 'new in' items at Coast and couldn't actually resist this clutch. To me I'd wear this with a fitted black dress and let the bag do the talking, or maybe a ruby coloured dress would look equally glamourous!
Fiorelli Rustle Clutch - £45.00
Excuse my little picture of this adorable Fiorelli Rustle Clutch....but isn't it just super angelic and cute?! The delicate fabric would work with many items, and is ideal to work up a casual outfit.
Goddiva Black Satin Rose Box Clutch - £18.00
This beautiful Goddiva Satin Rose Box Clutch can pretty much collaborate well with any look this season. Ideally I'd suggest it as a one you use for your work Christmas meal, or perhaps dinner with your girls....fits your essentials in and looks sophisticated with a bargain price!
Next Silver Scallop Clutch - £16.00
Last but not least is one my favourites; the Next Silver Scallop clutch bag. This little clutch oozes glam, and if you don't need a Mary Poppins style bag where you fit the world in, then this could be the answer.
