Top Picks for Winter Socials

It seems that we are now into that time of year where we don't always know what clothes are the best to wear....   I struggle (believe it or not) at the best of times with what to venture out in, so one of my numerous resolutions was to find some key ensembles that could work for the current season.

I have created a few mood boards for those unknown days when we haven't got a clue what to wear.  Fair enough some insignificant days we don't know what to wear, but what about when you need to be seen in public or need to be social?! Each of these looks is different but unique at the same time and even though I may sound quite old ranting on about how  cold it is - each  of these will be a great warm look!

A fantastic casual look for a trip to the cinema, we all love going to the cinema so why not embrace going when the weather isn't at it's best?

You can't beat meeting up inside somewhere cosy having a catch up and lunch with friends!  This is a casual look so would be ideal for a gastro pub or a boutique cafe.

You certainly can't hibernate (as much as I'd love to!) so at some point to save you going insane you'll need to socialize! I can feel quite underdressed if I don't wear something to give me height, so I've added in a girls best friend.... wedges! Also the fantastic leather jeans will keep you legs warm if you move on to a different bar after.  The floral top from Topshop is one of my favorite items I've seen recently, it's deep in tones and unique but at the same time it's femnine and ideal for this look....  It can also be worn more casually say with some jeans.

If you know me, you'll know I can never resist polka dots! I spied this dress from Topshop before Christmas, but the rich tone is ideal for warming up your look.  You never want to go overboard with a date but at the same time I always believe you should make an effort regardless.   
Those are my top picks for some possible social situations you may encounter over the next month or so.  Remember keep any item of clothing in a warming color and it'll really make a huge difference to how you feel.
