Sala Rim Naam at Mandarin Oriental
(c) orientalescape The Gardens of Dinsor Palace (c) managerMandarin Oriental Bangkok's Sala Rim Naam combines all the elements to be one of the best romantic Thai dining experiences in Bangkok. Sala Rim Naam succeeds by an amazing location by the riverside, not just near to the water but right next to it! Nothing would mean it if the riverside located restaurant isn't the best in what it is basically for, food! Nothing goes out of the kitchen without perfection by Executive Chef Vichit Mukura. The cuisine at Sala Rim Naam is elaborate but absolutely Thai. Owned and operated by the Mandarin Oriental, the restaurant is located on the opposite side of the Chao Phraya River that offers far better city views. The classic wood shuttle boat gives you a free ride from the hotel to the restaurant adding a fun touch to the romantic mood before dinner.
On the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree hotel and reaching for the clouds at Vertigo and Moon Bar is one of the best ways to end a long day in Bangkok. There is no lack of rooftop bars in town but Vertigo has always been the most preferred. With an unusual narrow and elongated shape, the entire top of the building is occupied by both the bar and the restaurant and gives the unusual impression of being aboard a spaceship in the sky. Vertigo is located on Sathorn road which is a very large busy avenue filled with tall glass and metal skyscrapers and not far from the Lumpini park and Silom area. The hotel and its unusual design might be old design, but once you step inside the lobby, you will get to witness the sophisticated atmosphere. A fast lift from the lobby will take you to the 60th floor where you will find the popular Bai Yun Chinese restaurant. Better not be afraid of heights as Bangkok will be laid out below once you step outside.Beside this the most thrilling yet experiencing is the walk out on a rooftop with absolutely nothing above you.

A French fine-dining experience at J'aimeRestaurant at U Sathorn Hotel is dedicated to classic cuisine and contemporary flourishes to reinvigorate age old recipes rather than reimagine them completely. Although the food at J'aime Bangkok is classic French in preparation and flavor, it also gives an Asian twist which itself is very unique. For example, appetizers come as three small portions which are designed to be shared with surprising to find chopsticks and a lazy Susan on the table. Executive Chef Jean-Michel Lorain has achieved worldwide acclamation as the owner of three-Michelin starred Côte Saint Jacques in Burgundy which was a restaurant opened by his grandmother.

It was built in 1930 for a royal princess and is made up of a coffee shop with downstairs dining rooms and many private rooms upstairs with their own balcony to view the amazing gardens. The Gardens of Dinsor Palace is eccentric for a large gathering of friends or family and is also very famous for wedding ceremonies.
