1. Agonda Beach

While driving towards north from the Canacoa town, the Cola beach comes next to the Agonda beach. This hidden gem in South Goa remains a lesser explored beach for an obvious reason. The virgin beaches in Goa like Cola might not be the best beach for traveling with your family. This is simply because of its remote location. You need to drive up steep cliffs to reach there. So it is not a good idea to get there with a small clearance car. But once you get there, you will find that the pain is worth taking. There are a few shacks, and the sea is somewhat rocky. However, the main attraction of the cola beach lies in its fantastic lagoon, which is lined with lush palm trees. The lagoon is warm, picturesque, and brilliant to swim in. However, it might not be the best place to visit in the rainy season.
3. Betalbatim Beach
It is a great option for those who find that the nearby Colva beach is excessively crowded. You can easily reach here from Madgaon. Located in South Goa, it lies in between the twin beaches of Majorda and Colva, the nearest town being Vasco da Gama. It has a few shacks. It has tiny open restaurants where you can wine dine while experiencing the sunset. This low on crowd beach has some comfortable accommodation ideas in its proximity. Enjoy drinking some great quality liquor from the beachside bars.
4. Arossim Beach
It is basically an extension of the Cansaulim and Cuelim beaches. It is just 12 km away from Margao. The Dabolim international airport is just 16 km away from the beach. It is the starting point of the coastline of South Goa. Spending some days here is no less than spending some days on a private beach. It is a very peaceful beach, where you would like to spend days reading, doing yoga, and exercise. Drinking good quality rum and savoring kinds of seafood by the waves come as incentives. However, in virgin beaches in Goa like these generally, offer lesser water sports.
5. Ashwem Beach
This is one of the most peaceful beaches in Goa, which is close to Panjim. The Ashwem beach is a part of the twin beaches, MorjimAshwem. With its distinct personality, the water of this beach is crystal clear and cool. There are a lot of shacks, offering amazing foods. Also, the sea is not much steep, which means that you can go a bit deep. If you love early morning walks, then you are going to love this place, as well. You will also enjoy a drive or a ride across the beach, and enjoy the crisp, clear, green surroundings. You can also find locals catching crabs across the rocky areas of the shore. If you love nature, then it would be a fantastic activity to see and enjoy.
6. Small Vagator
Last but never the least; this small beach is located in between the north of Anjuna, and the South of Vagator. It is not located remotely, yet it is one of the less crowded beaches in Goa. The secluded and relatively unexplored beach is just the place for the privacy lovers. Originally known as the Ozran beach, you can go for a swim in the morning and enjoy the nightlife in the nearby shacks. The trance music that keeps on being played in the shacks gives a mesmerizing experience.
