Here we go with the next ten . . .
100-91
90. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) 😂😃
He was given the task to make her fall in love with him and she was writing a magazine article trying to do the total opposite thing. This actually then creates a fantastic rom-com that I don’t think it gets the credit that it deserves. It has some pretty hilarious moments in the build up of trying to lose him and how not to act with a man!
89. The Last Kiss (2006) 💔
A film that is about a man who seems to have it all worked out his partner of three years who he loves is pregnant with their first child. The only problem is he has a total breakdown and no longer knows if that is what he wants, when he meets another woman at a wedding everything is about to change. This one really does tug at the heartstrings as surely it is very realistic in terms of that you may just have doubts when reaching that stage of your life when its all going to be “forever”.
88. Conversations with Other Women (2005) 💔
I find this film to be totally fascinating from start to finish. How well did they really know each other, how long were they together in the past and will they end up staying together? Those are all the questions we must go through as they spend a night together after a wedding in a hotel room. The tension and desire between the pair is brilliant and really makes your heart skip a beat or two.
87. 13 Going on 30 (2004) 😂😃
An absolute gem of a rom-com which really brought out the best in Garner and Ruffalo who were a perfect pair. A female version of “Big” many years later but with a slightly different twist. This one will certainly make you question the choices you make or made as a teenager and how it has then affected or will affect your adult life. It really does have some hilarious moments with a pretty predictable yet cute ending.
86. The Bodyguard (1992) ❤️😢
An absolute classic love story of the pop star who falls in love with her bodyguard and the film is very well known for having “I will always love you” in it. It has plenty of twists and turns but the tension between Costner and Houston is pretty impressive and will leave you wondering if they will eventually be together.
85. Valentine’s Day (2010) ❤️😃😢
This film has plenty of different types of romance and love stories all together in one film on one day. It’s pretty crazy and not the best in all honesty but it has to be on this list as it really does have some just lovely moments, some of which are what you least expect. I am probably biased with Julia Roberts being in it but I really don’t care. You are bound to find at least one of the stories that you will actually like.
84. A Little Bit of Heaven (2011) ❤️😭
This film is pretty depressing and sad I am not even going to lie but it has some sweet and lovely moments as well. It honesty made me sob in the cinema, I didn’t expect it to tug on the heartstrings as much as it does! The thing is though the romance side of it was pretty perfect even if we know it isn’t going to last I guess thats a great thing about love at times it doesn’t always have to be forever but doesn’t mean it is any less incredible in a short burst of time.
83. Nights in Rodanthe (2008) 💔😭
Richard Gere in a Nicholas Sparks based film . . . Ok maybe a little more explanation is needed as we watch a romance blossom between a man and woman trapped in a storm in a guest house. Richard Gere is the man. I must apologize as I have had many obsessions with him over the years. But it has a lovely romance but with anything from Sparks a tragic ending too.
82. Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) 😂😃
This is one of those films that I thought I would never ever like ever, but instead I got one of my favorite comedies as so many different moments make me laugh like a total idiot. But not only that it has some good ideas on romance and how you shouldn’t deal with a break up. Putting the film in this list is certainly making me think that I should give it another watch sometime soon.
81. One Day (2011) 😭
A friendship over the years which is put to the test when possible love is involved. Something I really like about this one is that it isn’t forced quickly, it builds up and they go through phases of not even liking each other . . . “I love you, Dex, so much. I just don’t like you anymore”. That really is one of my favorite film love quotes as it’s true sometimes you still love someone but don’t like them for either what they have done to you or the person they have become.
