From the seasoned women travellers in our community (join us here), we compiled a list of safety tips so  you know exactly what to expect.

1. Have a rough idea which direction you are going before getting in a taxi.

Most places in Asia are actually really safe, however…there are a few exceptions. This is common sense but a lot of travelers actually don’t do this….I’d say one of the most important safety tips for traveling in Asia is always have at least a vague idea of the direction and distance you need to go before getting into a tuktuk or taxi.
