Apart from the input accessories such as the keyboard, mouse, Surface Pen and maybe the Surface Dial, which are all connected via the supported Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology, everything else is delivered as one stylist module; Surface Studio is the iMac for the Windows world. While this may seem "neat" without having to deal with the cumbersome and ugly cable management issue, a dead pixel or a hinge issue, will send you looking for the whole Surface studio replacement instead of addressing the specific issue by swopping with a replacement part.2.
