It was officially brought into practice in the year 2003 by the Cricket Board of Wales, England.
The first Twenty20 International match consolidated in the year 2005 in the world.
The debut Twenty20 International cricket match was organized in India in the year 2006.

1. India's win over Ireland by 140 runs:


The first biggest win for India in T20Is by the margin of runs was against  Ireland on 29 June 2018 at Malahide Cricket Club Ground “The Village”, Dublin, Ireland during India's tour of England.
In this T20 match, Ireland won the toss and invited India to bat first, in which India had scored a total of 213 runs at the rate of 10.65 runs per over for the loss of 4 wickets in its quota of 20 overs.
Ireland could manage to score only 70 runs in its innings out of their quota of 20 overs in 12.3 overs at 5.60 runs per over, as a consequence, India won this T20 International from Ireland by 143 runs.

Sri Lanka could score only 87 runs for the loss of all wickets in its innings in 16 overs from the quota of 20 overs at the rate of 5.43 runs per over, as a consequence, India won this T20 International from Sri Lanka by 93 runs.

Another biggest win for India by a margin of runs in T20Is came against England in Group A of the ICC Twenty20 World Cup held in Sri Lanka on 23 September 2012 at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
After winning the toss on this match, England invited India to bat first, in which India had scored a total of 170 runs at the rate of 08.50 runs per over for the loss of 4 wickets in its quota of 20 overs.
In response, England had scored just 80 runs at the rate of 05.45 runs per over in 14.40 overs for the loss of their all wickets and as a result, India clinch this T20 International from England by 90 runs.
