Top 10 Anticipated Film 2015

By Newguy

What better way to start the new year than to look at all at some of the films coming out throughout the year. Today I am going to pick the 10 I am most looking forward too.

10. Jupiter Ascending – 6th February

I had this one on my list last year and it got delayed for nearly a year, so this time I am putting it back on the list just further down.

In the future, a young destitute human woman gets targeted for assassination by the Queen of the Universe, and begins her destiny to finish the Queen’s reign.

9. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens – 18th December

While many people are really looking forward to this one I am still not convinced on how good this will be but I do trust JJ Abrams

8. Kingsman: The Secret Service – 12th February

kingsman

After seeing this trailer I thought this film looked fun and having a slick Colin Firth looks good, along with Matthew Vaughn directing we should have faith in this film.

A veteran secret agent takes a young upstart under his wing.

7. The Hateful Eight – 2015

With no date set this could end up missing my list and appearing again next year but having Tarantino on my list is a must have as he always gives us great films.

In post-Civil War Wyoming, bounty hunters try to find shelter during a blizzard but get involved in a plot of betrayal and deception.

6. Tomorrowland – 22nd May

This Disney film looks like it could be very interesting and you add in George Clooney and Hugh Laurie this has my curiosity.

Bound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.

5. Minions – 26th June

The spin off from the Despicable Me that will focus on the funniest characters in the film.

Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

4. Terminator Genisys – 3rd July

terminator

Fresh of seeing the trailer we get something that looks fresh for the Terminator series, we have Schwarzenegger back, Emilia Clarke stepping into the Sarah Connor shoes this could be the surprise hit of the summer.

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John’s fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.

3. Jurassic World – 12th June

jurassic

It has been over 20 years since the first one came out and this could well be one of the best looking sequels we have had.

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.

2. Avengers: Age of Ultron – 24th April

It had to make a list didn’t it? This could easily be the film we have been waiting for but could change the landscape of the Marvel franchise forever.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and it is up to The Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron from enacting his terrible plans…

1. Furious 7 – 3rd April

furius

The 5th and 6th instalments were two of the most over the top fun in a film that we have ever had. You add in Jason Statham, Tony Jaa and Kurt Russell the action is sure to be up to a new level. It also will be our final goodbye to Paul Walker with a fitting goodbye lined up for him.

Deckard Shaw seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto and his crew for the death of his brother.
