{Crickets chirping…} HELLO!!! Sorry I’ve been MIA! My schedule had been MUCHO busy lately with activities after work EVERY night! I finally have a chance to take a breath, and guess what, I’m blogging! One on the more exciting events that happened is the TOOTSIES Top Blogger Photo Shoot! It was a Sunday afternoon of fun picking out our outfit and meeting everyone! AND THEN… a Tuesday afternoon of fabulosity doing the photo shoot.
We arrived at TOOTSIES in Dallas and were warmly welcomed by Nerissa (store director), Dustin (sales manager), Rachel (contemporary SA), and Courtney (one of the fab Where Wear in the City bloggers). Jen from Blank White Frames, the 2012 Top Blogger Winner, shared her secret for winning it all! :) We then got an official tour of the store by Dustin. From formal dresses to accessories, they have it all. And then the UBER FUN part started… playing dress up! We had to choose our look for the photo shoot and finale!
Ummm… can you tell I’m a bit obsessed with those Lulu Guinness bags? **Get in my closet**
My buddy, Elizabeth from The Now Stylebook, was across the dressing room from me! We took turns posing for each other! She is A HOOT!!! Don’t you adore that Alice and Olivia dress on her?! She thought it was too cotton candy – you know I’M ALL ABOUT the cotton candy! And I’m wearing a top and shorts from Trina Turk. LOVED!

On Tuesday evening, we headed over to the photographer’s studio – it’s AMAZING and it’s in her HOUSE! We were “prettied up” with hair and makeup by The Hair Bar. Then the magic began… Carmen Bright, photographer extraordinaire, shot our our looks and head shots. She has a great eye and was very inspired by our looks. Can’t wait for y’all to see what she did!
