I had a fantastic time at the Queen of Hoxton's launch for WigWamBam last night and I'm sure I'll be making it a regular drinking/eating spot over the coming winter months. I was so impressed by the giant rooftop tipi, food and drinks (hello hot buttered Santa Tersa rum), it left a big smile on my face and was the perfect way to kick off my winter.
As you know I'm not one for staying in, so tonight I'm off to a Friday late at The V&A Museum. I'm sure there will be plenty of OOOhhs and Arrrrrrs when me and my freinds view the 'Ballgowns' exhibition. Afterwards we are going to enjoy the V&A's Friday late night Halloween special - horror movies.
The 'Ballgowns' exhibition focuses on British glamour from the 1950’s to the present day with over sixty stunning designs ranging from red carpet evening glamour to couture catwalk showstoppers. No doubt I'll be lost in a world of beautiful dresses and look forward to seeing the flamboyant/spectacular numbers to the more contemporary gowns by designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Erdem and Alexander McQueen.
