Maxwell is a huge train fan and loves watching Chuggington on Cbeebies. If you are not familiar with the TV programme, it is about a group of trains which go on adventures and learn new skills. From a young age Maxwell watched the TV show and he still does now, he loves the brightly coloured trains as well as the fun theme tune. A few weeks ago TOMY kindly sent us a lovely box of Chuggington goodies. We were sent 2 trains and 1 Stack Track - Rescue at the Rocky Ridge Mine and 1 add on track set - Twists & Turns Action Track Pack.

When seeing the boxes with Chuggington on the front, Maxwell was dying to open them and get the contents out. We started off using the Stack Track. I was happy to set up the tracks for Maxwell myself however Maxwell wanted to help, so we set straight to work to get the train track up and running. We carefully opened the boxes to find that the track was carefully designed so you had no trouble building it. There were clear detailed instruction and all the pieces of track had letters on them to help identity them with the pieces on the instruction sheet. At first I had a little trouble building but after 10 mins I soon got the hang of the building. The key to building the track is to build on a flat surface.

Each set of Chuggington has a few configurations per set so should you get bored of one layout it’s easily changed. The track we were sent was a little complicated for Maxwell to help build so I ended up making him a smaller, more simpler one. We used the add on track to make the track a little larger length wise but as Maxwell grows we will use the add on track to make the track larger and more crazier.

Each stack track set comes with a train,  however you are also able to buy the trains individually. They are inexpensive to buy and can be the perfect stocking fillers this Christmas or a perfect substitute if your little one is prone to loosing things.
You are able to see below how much fun Maxwell really had when using the tracks.

All TOMY toys are available online or in stores. You can follow TOMY on Twitter and Facebook to find further information.
I did not receive any financial reward for writing this review. However we did receive the product for review purposes. Everything written in this post is my own, honest opinion.
