KARIM MEETS ROXANE

As Karim has not yet made his decision concerning Roxane, Sara organizes a meeting in order to prove that she no longer represents a danger to anyone. There, Captain Saeed thanks the young woman for helping him save Nina and asks her many questions about her past. Even though the waitress swears she's moved on and has no intention of avenging her parents' death, Karim replies that he still needs time to make up his mind. At the same time, Martin, who knows that Sara has potential in the police force, orders Aurore to frame her while paying attention to her. He then summons the young woman and makes her understand that he wants to put a cross on the name of his hacker but insists that she pulls herself together. Relieved, Sara joins Roxane at the hut and indicates that Karim is covering them. Happy to finally be free, the waitress smiles again. At the end of the day, Aurore warns Karim that Amine's trial will take place in two weeks and that the information gathered by Chemsa will have enabled a good part of her network to fall. When Captain Jacob asks him how he is, Karim confesses with tears in his eyes that he is having a hard time dealing with the death of his protege. Soon after, Lou is at his apartment and helps him put Chemsa's things in boxes. By stumbling upon a photo of Chemsa and Nina, Lou decides to keep it for his daughter.

MARTIN LEARNS TERRIBLE NEWS FROM DELCOURT

While giving the bottle to his daughter, Alex confides that he does not feel up to his role as a father, especially since his wife has taken care of everything since Celeste's birth. While Chloe recalls that he is an excellent father, Alex makes a declaration of love to his wife. Flore then visits Chloe to check on the little family. Although all tired since the arrival of Céleste, Marianne's daughter assures us that they are very happy. Meanwhile, Alex is at the farmhouse and seems to have drunk quite a few beers. When Jacques arrives to talk about serious things to his son, Alex refuses to listen to him. As Jacques persists, Alex loses his temper and grabs him by the collar before pushing him violently against a beam. A few hours later, Jacques' lifeless body is found in the pond. After receiving the first results of the autopsy, Martin knocks on the Delcourts' door to bring them the bad news.

SORAYA NEEDS TO TAKE BACK

Since their separation, Rémy does not stop thinking of Soraya and questions Georges to find out if he has any chances of winning her back one day. Their story being over because she no longer loves him, Georges asks the nurse to pull himself together and finally move on. In the meantime, Soraya is with Thomas for a family visit. Distant, the young woman finally reveals that Rémy is responsible for their separation. Aware that the situation has become complicated for her, Thomas suggests that she take a break from their relationship so that she thinks about what she wants to do with her life. As she needs to take a step back, she accepts and promises to continue giving him news regularly.
