Tomatrax Olympics – Cover Versions

Posted on the 07 July 2016 by Tomatrax @TomatraxAU

For this week's event of the Tomatrax Olympics we are going to look at the unoriginal songs, the cover versions. Cover versions can be a very hit and miss afair, some end up sounding just like the original, while others ruin the song and are just cringeworthy. However, when done well, a cover verson can reaveal a new side of a song and give it a whole new life. Suggesting that any cover version is better than the original is guaranteed to start an argument. However, here are the standout cover versions where the artists really managed to make the song their own!
