True Blood season 5 hasn’t even aired yet and talk of season 6 is in the air. Or at least that’s what website Celebuzz would like to believe. During an interview with actor Todd Lowe (Terry Bellefleur) talk of next season came up when they asked him how Anna Paquin’s (Sookie Stackhouse) pregnancy was affecting production.
HBO has not however made any official announcements about a renewal but we will post the official news when it is actually announced.
The quote that started all of the buzz however, concerned Anna’s due date which would be right before production begins on the sixth season:
“I think she is due right before we start (filming) the sixth season.”
But one thing Todd did put to rest during the course of the interview was whether we would see the pregnancy carry over into the life of Sookie Stackhouse. This isn’t going to happen because of the timeline he says:
“It would be hard because of the timeline. The timeline is crunched, you know.”
When television actors get pregnant in real life but their characters don’t, the standard procedure is to hide them behind objects but Todd says True Blood has been employing stunt doubles and costume tricks:
“I know that her stunt double has had more work than needed before…and they’re pretty creative with staging and costuming.”
After discussing his cast mate with him, Celebuzz moved on to asking Todd about what we can expect to see Terry doing this season. But like his other fellow actors he remained tight-lipped about specific saying only:
“I know I am in it for the majority of the season… I can say that.”
He certainly has. If all of you Truebies have been following our coverage of Todd’s storyline this year, it will have a lot to do with Patrick Devins (Scott Foley) Terry’s former commander who returns to resolve things that happened while they were in Iraq. It wasn’t going so well from the preview we saw however.
