Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie are in custody after surrendering to authorities after being indicted on tax evasion and fraud charges.
The Chrisley Knows Best stars are in custody in Georgia, according to the Northern District of Georgia attorney’s office. The couple turned themselves in early Wednesday morning, a spokesman for the attorney’s office told CNN. They’re expected to appear before a federal judge later today according to reports.

The 12-count indictment alleges the couple committed bank fraud and wire fraud conspiracy, among other offenses. Peter Tarantino, the couples accountant, has also been indicted on tax offenses.
Todd Chrisley denied the claims in a post on Instagram Tuesday, sharing with fans that the charges are based on evidence presented to investigators by a disgruntled former employee.
