I am HaShem your God from the land of Egypt and you know no God but Me, and besides Me there is no savior. I knew you in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. But when they were fed, they became full. They were filled and their heart was exalted, so they have forgotten Me (Hos 13:6).
You say that you love, but you simply pretend to love, going through the motions, for in reality you do not love. You simply hate with a hatred that is intense in its coldness and indifference of Him who loves you with infinity. Your hearts – so many of your hearts – are far away, very far away, from true love. And what is worse, so many of you do not know it.
Love suffers intensely in unbroken silence because He is not wanted, despite remaining a Prisoner all these years wherever you place Him, to keep you company. Only the external trappings remain as a shroud covering up the taste and presence of personified death.
